Restore / Importing Firefox Bookmark

I thought it was the end with all my favorite links that I saved for long time.  I dont know why firefox erased my bookmark suddenly.

After looking for a solution, Firefox saves bookmarks in a specific location in the PC. For those who are running Windows the bookmarks can be restored by importing a html file using “Organize Bookmark …”

These are the steps to restore your bookmark:

1. In the menu bar, click on Bookmarks and select “Organize Bookmark …”

2. Go to File/”Import…” and select the option “From File” (to import bookmars from file)

3. And locate a html file called “bookmarks-Year-Month-Day.html”.. this file could be located in “C:\Documents and Settings\(Current User)\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\(Weird File Name)\bookmarkbackups”

4. Add it and that’s all.

Para restaurar los marcadores de Firefox que pudiesen haberse perdido, o borrado, debemos de importarlos desde una carpeta donde encontraremos mas de un marcador que Firefox guarda para nosotros.

Mi windows XP esta en ingles asi que ubicar la carpeta Profiles y los archivos de respaldo que Mozilla realiza. Como ejemplo probar esta ubicación

“C:\Documents and Settings\(Usuario Actual)\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\(Nombre raro de  archivo )\bookmarkbackups”

Importaremos el archivo html desde la adminsitracion de marcadores / Archivo / Importar … y luego ubicar los marcadores que estan en una lugar parecido a la ruta/direccion de arriba.

y eso es todo
